Script

--Monday--

(In Tobias’ room, alarm clock can be heard)

Tobias: (Voice over) I’m Tobias.

(Shuffling under the covers)

Tobias: Crap! I’m late...

(Brushing his teeth)

Tobias: (voice over) and this is my normal routine.

Tobias: (muffled) I’m late. I’m late. I’m late. I’m late

(Putting on clothes)

Tobias: I’m late. I’m late. I’m late. I’m late

(Running down the stairs)

Tobias: (offstage) Bye mum!

(Slams door and runs out)

(Outdoor sounds, occasional sound of cars driving by)

(Waiting at a bus stop nervously)

Tobias: (voice over) sometimes, I hate my life. (Voice over ends)

Aaah, hurry up stupid bus. Where are you...?

Tobias: (Voice over) oooh who’s that?

(Girl smiles at him)

Tobias: Damn! She’s fiiiine

(Girl gets on her bus)

--Tuesday—

(In Tobias’ room, alarm clock sounding again)

Tobias: Not again!

(Scenes from Monday happen in Time-lapse)

(At the bus-stop, Tobias looks at the girl)

(Girl smiles and waves at him, and gets on her bus)

--Wednesday—

(Tobias wakes up and looks at the clock, where he is on time for once)

Tobias: Woo! On time!

(At the bus-stop)

Tobias: (voice over) Yes! She’s here!

(Rummages through bag and pulls out a notepad/book and a marker)

Tobias: (voice over while he writes on the page) Dinner on Friday?

(Girl pulls out a notepad and writes “yeah sure” and smiles)

 Tobias: (voice over while he writes on the next page) Cool... At 5?

(Girl shakes head and holds up her page which says “busy”)

Tobias: (voice over while he writes on the next page) How about 7?

(Girl smiles and shows him the page which says “okay”)

(Tobias gets on his bus)

--Thursday—

(Tobias gets off his bus and walks)

(He comes to a coin lying on the ground)

(Cartoon devil appears by his shoulder)

Devil: (New York accent) this could be yo lucky day man! That coin’s lucky!

(Cartoon angel appears by the other shoulder)

Angel: (posh English accent) No! You mustn’t take what is not yours! And that coin definitely isn’t yours.

Devil: (to angel) and who invited you here? (To Tobias) That coin is lucky, and you my friend definitely need some luck

Angel: No! That coin isn’t yours! Don’t pick it up!

Devil: (mimicking angel and his accent) that coin isn’t yours. Don’t pick it up! (New York accent) Get outta here! (To Tobias) See a penny, pick it up all week long you'll have good luck!

(Tobias picks up the coin)

(The coin starts to glow in his pocket)

--Friday—

(In Tobias’ room, alarm clock sounding again)

Tobias: oh hell no!

(Scenes from Monday happen in Time-lapse)

(At the bus-stop, Tobias looks for the girl)

Tobias: (voice over) what the... she’s not here?

(Tobias sits around waiting for his bus, which takes ages to arrive)

 (Tobias walks home holding flowers and chocolates)

Tobias: (voice over) Time to get ready and look delish.

(Tobias is in the shower, and then he stands in front the mirror experimenting with hairstyles, oblivious to the fact that time is wasting; meanwhile the girl is already at the place where they were supposed to meet)

 (Tobias walks out of the bathroom and sees the time)

Tobias: Aaah I’m late... again!

(Tobias hurriedly changes into his clothes, and falls down while putting on his trousers)

Tobias: I’m late! I’m late! I’m late! I’m late!

(Tobias runs out of the house and then back in as he forgot his phone and the flowers, and the girl is no getting tired of waiting)

(Tobias anxiously waits at the bus stop)

Tobias: (voice over) Today is not my day. And where is this stupid bus?!

(The bus doesn’t come, and Tobias starts running)

(Another boy sees the girl and sits down and starts talking to her)

(Tobias arrives at their meeting place in time to see the boy and the girl walking away holding hands)

Tobias: (voice over) as I was saying, sometimes I hate my life

(Tobias is heartbroken and sits down, with flowers that have no petals on them)

Tobias: (voice over) ...and sometimes I love it.

(Tobias stares at the flowers, and then the chocolates he was meant to give the girl. He smiles and then unwraps the wrapper)
